ONO printed a reticular structure that would take up almost the full printing area (120 x 66 x 50 mm). For this print, they used a mid-range Android phone and 46.8 ml of castable resin. You will see it only takes ONO 2 hours and 30 minutes to print the whole object, so with a brighter phone screen, you could print all this in just 2 hours! Even more impressive, the phone was not even connected to a charger while it was printing. Less than half of the fully charged battery was used, so you can now really print on the go!
Fast, accessible, and precise, ONO is the first ever Smartphone 3D Printer. ONO turns your phone into a portable 3D printer by using the light from your display to harden liquid resin into solid objects. Incredibly fast, it printed this complex reticular structure with a volume of 126 x 74 x 52 mm in just 2.5 hours using a mid-range Android phone.
