The goggles are composed of the following parts:

- Goggles screen frame (3d printed)

Hunan Vanguard Group Co., Ltd. developed similar 3D printing protective goggles in response to a front-line medical shortage during the outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia. The FDM-1 type surgical protective goggles passed trial operation by Xiangya Hospital Central South University on Feb 7 in Changsha, Hunan Province and were approved by the Changsha Administration for Market Regulation. The goggles were developed by Hunan Vanguard Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China South Industries Group Co., Ltd. (CSGC).
